The Democratic Party launched the One-Term President Fund, which is specifically dedicated to taking on Trump and Republicans' aggressive fundraising machine. Donate $3 before Thursday's deadline to take back the White House and win seats nationwide. Pat -- As a loyal grassroots supporter of the Democratic Party, I hope you'll give me a moment to explain the importance of our One-Term President Fund. Donald Trump and the RNC are working overtime to secure four more years in the White House. Trump's re-election campaign is spending aggressively, especially on digital ads, data, and technology, to build and strengthen its base. I get knots in my stomach just thinking about his unprecedented fundraising pace -- he's already raised nearly $130 million for a presidential election that's over a year away. That's why the Democratic Party launched the One-Term President Fund, which is specifically dedicated to taking on Trump and Republicans' aggressive fundraising machine. Thursday at midnight our party faces a critical end-of-month fundraising deadline, and it will take the support of grassroots supporters like you to power a groundswell of support to send Trump and Republicans packing in 2020. We've set an ambitious goal of having 50,000 individual donors make a contribution before March 1, in order to win back the White House and elect Democrats nationwide. Contribute $3 to the Democratic Party's One-Term President Fund before Thursday's deadline if you're ready to restore respectable leadership and values to the Oval Office, the Senate, and across the country. While Trump's culture of corruption and reckless behavior are a real assault on our democracy and an absolute disgrace to the presidency, it's not just him, Pat. Republicans in Congress and state legislatures are lifting up his most destructive and dangerous policies and implementing them across the country. His GOP allies are standing behind his attempts to take health care from millions, they've granted Brett Kavanaugh a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, and they're even standing behind his sham national emergency, all for an unnecessary, ineffective border wall. Enough is enough. The truth is the 2020 election will be a long uphill battle, and the Democratic Party is the only party organization completely committed to defeating Donald Trump. That means equipping candidates with the latest tools and data to stay at the forefront of rapidly changing technology, strengthening our state parties in all 50 states, and investing in essential voter protection programs to prevent interference in fair and free elections. The only way we can truly put a stop to this nightmare is by hitting our critical goal before Thursday at midnight, which is why I am coming to you with an urgent request: Will you make a $3 contribution to the One-Term President Fund before Thursday's midnight deadline? We've set a goal of reaching 50,000 Democratic supporters to help win critical races and take back the White House in 2020.
