Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives held a hearing on gun violence for the first time in eight years. (That's a long time coming for an issue that claims 100 American lives a day.) With Trump and the GOP in the pocket of the gun lobby, I can tell you for a fact that hearing would not have happened if committed supporters like you had not worked tirelessly to take back the House in 2018. We've got momentum on our side right now -- and we can't let up. If we have any chance at defending our values -- at bringing an end to senseless gun violence, making health care more accessible, and ensuring that every child gets a good education -- we must continue building the infrastructure to elect Democrats in 2019 and win the White House in 2020.
