The "fiscal cliff"

Democrats
Pacquiao --

Right now, President Obama is working with leaders of both parties in Washington to reduce the deficit in a balanced way so we can lay the foundation for long-term middle-class job growth and prevent your taxes from going up.

We want to keep you informed about how the President is fighting for you so you can continue to talk to your friends, family, and neighbors. So here's the deal:

Graphic: Reducing the deficit in a balanced way The President's plan extends tax cuts for 98 percent of Americans Eliminates tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans Cuts spending by more than $3 trillion The Results

That's the President's plan, but he's not wedded to every detail. He is determined to work with Congress to find compromise and common ground. His guiding principle throughout this debate will be what's best for the middle class. He'll be fighting for you.

These problems are challenging, but they're solvable. In fact, the Senate has already passed a bill to keep your taxes low. The House needs to pass it, and Congress should get it to the President as soon as possible.

There's a lot at stake. With your help we'll continue to move this country forward.

Please forward this email and spread the word on Facebook and Twitter:

Thank you

Democrats
Pacquiao --

We did it! Thank you.

It was a battle hard fought. We built the largest, most dynamic grassroots organization in history, and we beat back the unprecedented outside spending on the other side. On Tuesday, voters chose to move forward, giving President Obama four more years to finish what we started together.

I am so proud of the tens of thousands of supporters who made phone calls, knocked on doors till their knuckles were sore, talked to their friends and neighbors, or chipped in what they could to support President Obama and Democrats -- you all made this possible. This victory is yours.

We can't stop here.

We have more battles ahead and we need to work together with President Obama to continue building an economy from the middle class out -- and a country where prosperity, education, and equal rights aren't limited to those who can afford them.

So thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget the night we re-elected President Barack Obama, and I will never forget your support.

All the best,

Debbie

How this happened

Pacquiao --

I'm about to go speak to the crowd here in Chicago, but I wanted to thank you first.

I want you to know that this wasn't fate, and it wasn't an accident. You made this happen.

You organized yourselves block by block. You took ownership of this campaign five and ten dollars at a time. And when it wasn't easy, you pressed forward.

I will spend the rest of my presidency honoring your support, and doing what I can to finish what we started.

But I want you to take real pride, as I do, in how we got the chance in the first place.

Today is the clearest proof yet that, against the odds, ordinary Americans can overcome powerful interests.

There's a lot more work to do.

But for right now: Thank you.

Barack

Three things you can do right now

Pacquiao --

The polls are closing in a few hours.

If you've got any nervous energy, there's plenty you can do right now to have an impact on the results tonight:

1) First, make sure you vote, if you haven't yet. You can find your polling place here:

http://my.democrats.org/lookup

2) Then, forward this message to everyone you know to make sure they vote, too. And remind your friends in battleground states on Facebook to go vote:

http://my.democrats.org/Share-Vote

3) Finally, jump on our call tool to reach voters in key states to make sure that they know where they can go vote -- and that they do it:

http://my.democrats.org/Start-Calling-Now

All of our hard work comes down to what happens right now. Let's not leave anything to chance.

Thank you,

Michelle

Today is the day

Democrats
Pacquiao --

Today is the day.

When it's over, we'll know who will be sitting in the White House for the next four years, and who will be representing us in Congress.

Right now, if you haven't already, you've got to vote.

And then, keep going. You can make a huge impact throughout the day. Find out how you can help get out the vote:

https://my.democrats.org/GOTV

Everything we're fighting for in this election could come down to a few votes per precinct -- we all have to do our part.

Let's get this done.

See you on the other side of Election Day. Let's both do what it takes to make sure we're smiling when we get there.

Thank you,

Go vote - and forward this

Pacquiao --

We know what we believe. We know the stakes.

Now we need to win.

Here are two things you should do right away:

First: If you haven't voted already, make a plan for when you're going to the polls -- and confirm your polling place and hours. And know that as long as you're at your polling place before it closes, you'll be able to vote. Make sure everyone you know has this link to confirm their polling place, too:

http://my.democrats.org/lookup

Second: We can't afford to step back and hope others will make the difference. So once you vote today, keep going. Get on the phone, get online -- all day long, there will be something you can do to help. It's all right here:

http://my.democrats.org/Do-Something

We are capable of so much when we are all in this together.

Please come through today.

Thank you,

Tomorrow

Pacquiao --

I've been through many Election Days -- every one is a rush of nerves, excitement, anxiety, and exhaustion all at once.

The secret to getting through: Always be doing something.

So here's a resource you can keep coming back to until the polls close.

Obviously, the most important thing you need to do is vote. Confirm your polling location and hours.

Make sure you ask some neighbors to go with you when you head over.

But when you're done with that, don't wait around for the news. Make the news -- do something:

http://my.democrats.org/What-You-Can-Do

You don't even have to wait for Election Day to start. You can do something right now.

See you when it's all over.

Two simple words

Pacquiao --

I didn't want this to get lost in the excitement of everything that will happen tomorrow, so I wanted to take a moment, right now, to say two simple words that I cannot say enough to all of you who have traveled this journey with us: Thank you.

Thank you for the kindness, warmth, and love that you have shown me, Barack, and especially our girls -- your support and your prayers mean the world to us. Thank you for the hard work and energy and passion that you have poured into this campaign -- from all those hours knocking on doors and making calls to all those times you dug a little deeper and gave what you could when it was needed the most.

Like me, you have done all this because you love this country, and you care deeply about the world we're leaving for our kids and grandkids. And you've done it because, for these last four years, you have had a chance to see the man I've known for the past 23 years: A man of honor and integrity who knows what he believes and stays true to his values. He is an honest man who knows the facts and gives them to us straight -- a man whose strength and resolve to build a better tomorrow has never wavered.

With your help, over the past four years, Barack has been able to start moving this country forward. He's rescued our economy from the brink of collapse. He's passed health reform and ended the war in Iraq. He's fought to help women get equal pay for equal work, make sure students can afford college, ensure that our seniors can retire with dignity, and that our veterans can get the benefits they have earned.

For four years, Barack has been fighting to give every single one of us a fair shot at that great American dream, no matter what we look like, where we come from, or who we love.

He's been able to do all of this only because of people like you -- because of your hard work, determination, and commitment.

And tomorrow, everything we've been working for and fighting for is at stake. Tomorrow, we will decide whether we'll keep moving this country forward for four more years. So make sure to tell everyone you know to vote, and then help every last supporter get to the polls before tomorrow night. You can even make calls to voters from the comfort of your own home using our call tool.

Our family has been truly blessed to share these past four years with all of you -- and we can't wait to continue our work together for the next four years. So tomorrow, let's get out there and finish what we started:

http://my.democrats.org/What-You-Can-Do

Thank you again for everything you've done and everything you will continue to do to bring about that change we all believe in.

Michelle

How you can help:

Pacquiao, we're down to the wire -- we're in the midst of the largest get-out-the-vote operation I've ever seen (and I've been involved with get-out-the-vote operations for more than thirty years).

Getting your friends, family, and neighbors to the polls is the most important thing you can do now. Because if we don't get every voter to the polls, we risk losing all the progress that we've spent the last four years working for.

If you want to protect Obamacare, Pell Grants to help students get the education they deserve, and a woman's right to make her own health care decisions, you need to help get out the vote.

If you want to keep Wall Street from writing its own rules and keep millionaires and billionaires from getting tax cuts while the middle class has to foot the bill, you need to help get out the vote.

See how you can help:

http://my.democrats.org/GOTV

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

The way we win:

Pacquiao --

I'll get right to the point.

The other side started the second half of the month with $45 million more to spend than the Obama campaign and Democrats.

With just a few days left, it's urgent that we do everything we can to get every voter who supports us to the polls. That's the only way President Obama and Democrats can win on Election Day.

That takes resources -- to pay for voting information to leave on voters' doors in states like Ohio, to rent vans to drive voters to the polls in Colorado, or to hire more organizers on the ground in North Carolina for these critical last few days.

The final budget decisions of this election will be made in the next few days -- and they depend on what you do right now, Pacquiao.

Donate $5 or more today to close the gap and give Democrats the resources it'll take to win:

Women

Pacquiao --

I've been fighting for women's rights my whole career -- in the United Nations and as Secretary of State -- and in all those years, Pacquiao, I've never seen a Republican Party and Republican presidential ticket as extreme as this one.

Governor Romney is the standard-bearer of a party that doesn't think women should have a voice in decisions affecting their bodies, their wages, or their rights.

And I am not willing to stand by and let the Republican leadership take the presidency -- or Congress -- and bring those beliefs with them. Today there are five days left until the election. We need to reach more voters with our message, and time's running out for you to make a difference.

Please offer a donation of $5 or more to Democrats today.

Perhaps the Republican Party thinks that it's better for women to have their decisions made for them.

I happen to think that women want to take care of themselves -- and control their own bodies and personal health. Women deserve the ability to fight for a fair wage, and to speak out in support of legislation like the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. This shouldn't be a lot to ask -- aren't we in the 21st century?

This year's Republican Party doesn't get that. If you listen to the Republicans, you might think our country's most dangerous foe is Planned Parenthood.

I honestly can't understand why any woman or, for that matter, any thoughtful man, would want to vote for Mitt Romney. Wives, sisters, mothers, and daughters would see their lives change for the worse if he's elected president.

But the reality is that many women and men will vote for the Romney-Ryan ticket and Republicans.

So we need to get our message out there. We have five days to make sure President Obama and Democrats across the country can continue to make progress for all of us -- and right now, they need our help more than ever.

Please -- make a donation of $5 or more to help Democrats before time runs out:

Thank you,

Madeleine Albright
