Trump just lied to nearly 100 million people during the biggest TV moment of the year. Here’s what that means, Pat:

Did you see Trump's ads during the big game?
DemocratsJoin us.

Did you see the Trump campaign's game-day ads just now? Here's why they have me worried, Pat:

  1. Trump's message just reached around 100 million people. That's about as big an audience as you can get.

  2. And perhaps even more worrying: These ads were was full of lies. Lies about Trump's promises (he's broken more than he's kept), wage growth (it's slowed under Trump), and more.

This is what I mean when I talk about the challenge we face in this election. Trump is pushing outright lies to voters at an unprecedented frequency and magnitude.

That's why we're counting on committed Democrats like you to help, Pat. Even if we're out-raised, we can be smarter and more strategic with what we raise and come out on top -- but we MUST keep pace. That's why I'm asking:

Will you chip in $7 today so we can give our candidates a fair shot against Trump and the RNC's massive war chest? Democrats won't be able to fight back without your help.

After a long and competitive primary, our nominee will rely on the DNC for the campaign infrastructure and financial resources they'll need to win against Donald Trump. Right now, we're at a huge financial disadvantage, but that doesn't mean we're down and out.

We can handle being out-raised, but only to a certain point. Whether we get there depends on you, Pat -- so can I count on your $7 donation to put towards key parts of the DNC's strategy to win up and down the ballot?

We can't do this without you.

In unity,

Tom
