Barack Obama asked:

No matter who wins this primary, we'll need to build the strongest infrastructure in our party's history.

Pat, do you know what Donald Trump and the RNC have been doing every day while our 2020 presidential candidates have been on the campaign trail talking to voters and sharing their vision for America? They've been fundraising for Trump and Republicans' reelections at a rapid, unprecedented pace -- raising over $400 million last year alone.

Trump and the RNC raised over $400 million last year.

That's why the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund is so vital. This fund, unveiled last year in partnership with President Barack Obama, is designed to provide our eventual nominee with all the resources they'll need after the primary.

Democratic Unity Fund

So far, we've already seen a huge response to the fund -- but it looks like we don't have a direct contribution to the fund from you on file.

Thousands of people in your state have donated to the Democratic Unity Fund.

I'm asking you to join me, President Obama, and tens of thousands of Democrats nationwide in supporting the Democratic Unity Fund. Fully supporting this fund and building the strongest DNC in history is our best shot at electing Democrats up and down the ballot in 2020. So, can I put you down for a contribution before tomorrow's FEC deadline?

Chip in $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund before tomorrow's FEC deadline. Believe me when I say we can't do this without you, Pat.

Thanks for being an essential part of this team,

Joe

P.S. According to our records, you haven't made a contribution directly to the Democratic Unity Fund yet. Will you donate $7 to the fund before tomorrow's important deadline to put our eventual nominee -- whoever she or he may be -- and Democrats everywhere in the best possible position to win?
