What Trump just said in Pennsylvania

Trump's path to 270 could be in jeopardy.
DemocratsJoin us.

Donald Trump just stepped offstage at his rally in Pennsylvania. Here's what you need to know:

  1. He's campaigning there tonight because he's terrified of losing ground in Pennsylvania. The state will be one of Trump's biggest targets going into 2020, and after stark warning signs for Republicans in the suburbs (more on this below this message!), they're scared his path to 270 could be in jeopardy.
  2. Trump just spent the past two hours repeating the same vitriolic hate and broken promises he's been spewing for years. What Trump said on that stage tonight confirmed once again that he has no intention of keeping his promises to working Americans -- and you, me, and voters across the country see right through his charade.

The truth is that Trump held his rally in Hershey tonight because he knows that after his party's crushing defeats last month in Virginia, Kentucky, and Louisiana, he can't afford to lose more ground in Pennsylvania -- a state that will be critical for his path to reelection. As one of our strongest supporters, I am asking you to send Donald Trump and his party a strong, unmistakable message tonight before his plane lands back in Washington: Pennsylvania is going blue in 2020.

Show Trump and his allies the strength of our party in Pennsylvania and across the country by making a $7 donation to the One-Term President Fund before he leaves Hershey. Every dollar raised goes straight towards building the vital DNC programs we'll need to win the White House and seats nationwide.

The DNC has already begun hiring and training organizers in key battleground states, holding Trump and his administration accountable through the DNC War Room, and ensuring Democratic candidates have access to world-class data and tech. All of those investments will be key to Democratic victory up and down the ballot next year, but they can't stay fully funded without your urgent support. Honestly, we need your help, and we need it right now.

Winning in 2020 requires the early, consistent support of dedicated Democrats like you. That is why I have to ask you one more time tonight:

Make a $7 donation to the One-Term President Fund to defeat Donald Trump and his allies in 2020. Even a modest contribution would make a big difference in what we can accomplish together.

Let's go win this, Pat. Thanks for all you do for our party.

P.S. In last month's municipal elections, Democrats seized control of suburban Philadelphia's Delaware County Council for the first time since the Civil War. That's huge news -- and it's a strong sign that momentum is on our side. Carrying that progress into 2020 depends on you, Pat, so please donate $7 to the One-Term President Fund to invest in the tools Democrats need to defeat Trump and the GOP.
