Not enough

I've been going over the Democratic Party's financials ahead of the year's end, and one thing has become very clear:
DemocratsJoin us.

Pat, I've been going over the Democratic Party's financials ahead of the year's end, and one thing has become very clear: We're still short of where we need to be to fully fund the Democratic Unity Fund.

The Democratic Unity Fund, launched in May with the help of President Obama, is a fund specifically designed to give our eventual nominee for president and Democratic candidates down the ballot the resources they'll need to win in the general election. It'll put whoever wins our party's nomination in the best possible position to defeat Donald Trump and his allies -- but that won't be possible unless it remains properly funded. Right now, we're still tracking behind, and we seriously need to pick up our fundraising pace to close that gap before the end of the year.

Progress to go

President Obama joined the DNC in launching the fund because he knows how vital party unity will be as we head into this general election, and he's called on you to support the fund by chipping in. He knows how important this is.

According to our records, you still have yet to answer his call -- and there is no more important time to make a donation than right now, before the year ends. Will you make your very first $7 investment in the fund before the year is out? By making your first gift directly to the Democratic Unity Fund, you'll play an integral role in electing our eventual nominee for president and Democrats down the ticket.

Thank you so much for your help,

P.S. We still have time to pick up our fundraising pace and fully fund the Democratic Unity Fund before the year ends, but we need your urgent help to get there. Make a $7 donation to the Democratic Unity Fund to help keep our party on track.
