This moment demands leadership

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
DemocratsJoin us.

As you read this, less than half of the states and territories' primary contests remain -- which means our window to build a strong party infrastructure for our eventual presidential nominee is closing. Take a look, Pat:

Map of states that have yet to vote in the 2020 primary.

You've probably heard me talk about the Democratic Unity Fund, an effort announced by President Barack Obama in May of last year. The fund was designed to ensure that our eventual nominee and Democrats running for office nationwide have the resources needed to confidently face Donald Trump and the RNC's powerful fundraising machine.

Many supporters from your state have donated to the Democratic Unity Fund!

It's clearer than ever that we need a Democrat in the White House. That's why I'm asking you to do something important right now:

Will you donate $7 for the first time to the Democratic Unity Fund before the general election? Your contribution will directly support the ironclad party infrastructure needed to take on Donald Trump and the GOP in November.

With initiatives like our Data Warehouse and programs like Battleground Build-Up, the DNC has already begun building the infrastructure needed to deploy a winning strategy for our eventual nominee and Democrats down-ballot. This wouldn't have been possible without the generous, early support of donors to the Democratic Unity Fund. But truthfully, these initiatives depend on your support if they are going to make a meaningful difference come November.

In moments of uncertainty, it's easy to lose sight of what's important. But I'm writing to remind you that the general election is right around the corner. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, which is why I'm asking you to step up today:

Can I count on you to support the Democratic Party by donating $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund?

With tremendous gratitude,

Seema
