Super Tuesday polls close in just a few hours, Pat, and before that happens, I am asking you to rush your first-ever $7 donation to the Democratic Unity Fund to help hit our 24-hour Super Tuesday goal.
While Democrats nationwide are casting their votes for our presidential nominee today, the DNC is focused on what comes next: The general election. After today's contests are decided, roughly 40 percent of delegates will be allocated, pushing us that much closer to finding out our nominee. We need to make sure we've done everything in our power to create a launching pad for our eventual nominee BEFORE the general election.
That's why President Obama announced the Democratic Unity Fund, which will power our nominee and Democrats all across the country after a long and expensive primary. It's critically important that we meet certain benchmarks for the fund, and today is a huge milestone. Right now, we're coming up short of our 24-hour Super Tuesday goal. Take a quick look:
If we're going to beat Donald Trump and his massive fundraising machine, we need to hit this goal.
Before tonight's final Super Tuesday polls close, will you commit to supporting our eventual nominee -- whomever they may be -- and candidates down the ballot by making a $7 donation to the Democratic Unity Fund? We're almost there, Pat, but we need your help.
Thanks for being on the team,
Seema
