This is important

A generous, consistent commitment, started when it matters most, will have an even greater impact than the total sum given right before November 3.
DemocratsJoin us.

I'm writing to you with what's gonna sound like a pretty large request: To make a $180 investment in our party before Election Day 2020.

This probably seems like a hefty commitment -- which is why I hope you'll give me a moment to level with you about how that amount, given gradually in monthly installments starting today, has the potential to tip the scales for Democrats come November:

As the DNC's Director of Online Fundraising, I see the daily impact that grassroots donations make on building the party infrastructure needed to take on Donald Trump and Republicans. It's tremendous. Just this past month, the DNC was able to expand Battleground Build-Up 2020 -- a multi-million dollar investment in 12 key battleground states -- and it wouldn't have been possible without crucial early support.

But there's a lot more to be done in the next nine months, and truth be told, we're quickly running out of time to get it all done. That's where your $180 comes in, Pat. The average online donation to our party is about $20. By donating that amount each month from now until Election Day, your gradual monthly investment will total $180 by Election Day. That generous, consistent commitment, started when it matters most, will have an even greater impact than that same $180 given right before November 3.

Will you start a $20 monthly gift today? Your sustaining donation started now will make a huge difference in what our party can accomplish between now and Election Day.

This election is the most important of our lifetimes. That's why we're undertaking some of the most ambitious and innovative programs in our party's history to ensure Democrats win up and down the ballot -- all of which need your consistent support to reach their full potential:

  • Organizing in battleground states has to happen for Democrats up and down the ticket to win. The DNC is recruiting and training field organizers in key battleground states -- many of which our 2020 presidential candidates don't have the ability to focus on right now -- to mobilize their communities. Scaling up these efforts and building a powerhouse ground game couldn't be more urgent.

  • The Data Warehouse is the centerpiece of the Democratic Party's massive effort to overhaul what was once a crumbling data infrastructure. If we can continue to fully fund it, the warehouse will put our eventual nominee and candidates down the ticket in the best position possible to target voters and win from coast to coast.

  • The DNC War Room is our party's battleground states-focused research and rapid response hub made up of dozens of research, communications, and mobilization experts entirely dedicated to kicking Trump out of the Oval Office. The War Room is critical to keeping Trump's poll numbers as low as possible in key battleground states.

Programs like these will help us win on Election Day -- but they all are depending on early support to reach their full capacity. Your $20 monthly investment, started now, helps our party plan ahead and confidently invest in these vital initiatives while it's still early enough in the race.

Commit to giving $180 before Election Day by starting a $20 monthly gift today. Every penny will be put straight to work to help Democrats win up and down the ballot.

Clarke
