 Organizing Corps 2020 is a significant investment, but it's necessary for our Democratic nominee to be able to win in 2020. Will you donate today to help support an organizer and invest in our party's future? I sent around an email last week about Organizing Corps 2020, and now I hope you'll give me an opportunity to explain why this program is so important: I remember watching the returns in 2016, and the pit in my stomach when Donald Trump took Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin -- all states that Democratic presidential candidates had won in the past. We only win what we organize for, Pat, and quite frankly we didn't organize as we should've in those states. But we won't make that mistake again. When my team sat down to put together the winning strategy for 2020, we knew that we couldn't just run the same old plays. We want to build one of the largest, most diverse teams of organizers in key states early so that we can win back the White House and sweep the entire ballot. So, we're launching Organizing Corps 2020 -- a first-of-its-kind program to recruit and train hundreds of young people to work on the 2020 election starting this summer. This program is going to deliver a huge advantage to our party's eventual nominee, but the truth is it's going to to take all of us pitching in to get it done. It's going to take grassroots supporters like you to help fund it. Which is why I'm asking: Contribute $3 today to fund essential programs like Organizing Corps 2020 and help win back the White House in 2020. Organizing Corps 2020 is an unprecedented, multi-million dollar investment we're making to recruit, pay, and train young people to work on the 2020 presidential cycle. It has a special focus on mentoring students from communities of color and will give our eventual Democratic nominee the support of 1,000 homegrown field organizers -- and that's one of the best and most important things we can do to ensure we win the White House in 2020. This is an expensive program, and if I am being honest, we worked with our partners to launch it before it was fully funded -- because that is just how important this work is. It will cost around $10,000 to recruit, train, and pay each one of our young organizers, so anything you are able to give will help. It's absolutely imperative that we build the next generation of Democratic organizers for both our nominee and our party's future, and we cannot do that without you, Pat.
