How your support before tonight's deadline will affect 2020, Pat

There has never been a more important time to stand with Democrats before the first 2019 end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, so I am asking you:

DemocratsJoin us.
Pat --

In just a minute, I am going to ask you to make a donation before tonight's first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of 2019. I hope you'll give me a moment to share why this request is so crucial.

When I became chair of the DNC in 2009, it was right after our party celebrated some monumental triumphs, such as defending Democratic majorities in the House and Senate and electing President Barack Obama. Those victories were only made possible through an incredible grassroots team that invested early to create the infrastructure necessary to win.

We need to execute the same winning strategy right now, in 2019, in order to stay on track to take back the White House in 2020. Early investments in our party will determine how prepared Democrats are to take on Trump's aggressive fundraising machine -- a massive operation that's already raised nearly $130 million. There has never been a more important time to stand with Democrats. So, before tonight's fundraising deadline, I am asking you:

Can you make a $3 donation to the DNC before the first end-of-quarter deadline of 2019? Every single contribution will be essential to building the party infrastructure required to defeat Donald Trump and Republicans by electing Democrats nationwide.

The DNC is doing some pretty phenomenal work to ensure our eventual nominee has access to a stable party foundation -- one capable of replacing Trump and the GOP with strong Democratic leaders.

I have to say, I'm pretty fired up about the unprecedented, strategic investments they're making to build a country that is big-hearted, forward-thinking, and works for everyone. Here's a little of what they're up to:
  • Improving Democratic data, technology, and cybersecurity so that our Democratic candidates have the newest, state-of-the art tools to deliver our positive message to voters.
  • Training the next generation of organizers through Organizing Corps 2020, a first-of-its-kind program that will recruit and train organizers in key battleground states we lost in 2016. This program will be imperative for our Democratic nominee to have a world-class field team ready to win in 2020.
  • Investing heavily in digital advertising. Digital ads are a great way to engage and mobilize our base and empower our eventual nominee to effectively reach their target audiences.
The 2020 election will be the fight of our lifetimes, Pat -- and tonight's deadline is our opportunity to provide whoever becomes the Democratic nominee with the critical resources they need to defeat Donald Trump. No other political organization will be better equipped to provide the tools, technology, and organizing infrastructure needed to pull off a victory than the DNC.

Make a $3 contribution to build a party that is capable of taking on the GOP and sending a Democrat to the White House in 2020. Every dollar raised before tonight's first end-of-quarter deadline of 2019 will bring us one step closer to defeating Donald Trump and Republicans.

Thank you for standing with Democrats.
