Workers deserve better than Donald Trump

I'm doing everything I can to elect a Democratic president and take back the Senate in 2020, but I can't fight this fight alone.

DemocratsJoin us.
Pat --

I've spent the past few months traveling across our country listening to the stories of working families firsthand, and what I heard in community after community confirmed what Democrats like you and me already know:

Under Donald Trump, America's workers aren't getting a fair shake.

Too many people in this country aren't seeing their hard work pay off. Instead of fulfilling his campaign promise to fight for working-class folks, Trump and his administration have tipped the scales further in favor of the very wealthiest among us. From his tax cuts for the rich to his reckless government shutdown -- the longest in U.S. history, in case you forgot -- Donald Trump has shown time and again that the well-being of working families is his very last priority.

It's time for Trump's brand of phony populism to come to an end -- but that can only happen if this team of grassroots Democrats comes together now to build the party infrastructure to make him a one-term president. Waiting until the general election begins to fund the critical DNC investments it'll take to beat Trump and the GOP would all but guarantee he stays in the Oval Office for another four years. That's a reality this country can't afford, which is why I'm coming to you with an urgent request:

Will you make a $3 donation to the DNC to help elect a Democratic president in 2020 and win seats nationwide? Our fight for working people has to start now, so your contribution today will make an incredible difference.

Democrats know that unless we fight hard to lower the cost of health care, guarantee job benefits, raise the minimum wage, and fight for fair treatment in the workplace, the threats facing middle-class families will only become more real -- and believe me, Pat, we will fight.

The Democratic Party is already firing on all cylinders building the crucial party infrastructure our eventual Democratic nominee for president will inherit in the general election. The DNC is busy making important investments in organizing in key battleground states, best-in-class tech and data, and hiring experienced voter protection staff, which is why every contribution made to our party gets put straight to work helping defeat Trump and Republicans across the country.

I'm doing everything I can to elect a Democratic president and take back the Senate in 2020, but I cannot fight this fight alone. I need committed grassroots supporters like you in this thing with me, Pat. The DNC is the only party organization tasked with winning the White House, so if you're as serious as I am about replacing Trump and his Republican allies with Democrats in 2020, I'm asking you to make a contribution to our party right now.

Donate $3 to help defeat Trump and the GOP in 2020. Your early support in this fight is critical, so your contribution today will have a direct impact on who wins the White House and seats nationwide next year.

Thank you for being a part of this,

Sherrod
