As I write this, the DNC is hard at work making the necessary improvements in organizing, data, and technology to make that happen. Having a strong party infrastructure can make or break a campaign. With a primary ahead of us, it's even more critical that the DNC is in the strongest position possible for our eventual nominee. As a former DNC chair, I can tell you exactly what that means: Recruiting, training, and paying organizers nationwide, equipping candidates up and down the ballot with all of the tools and technology they need to take the Democratic message to voters, and building up our state parties -- in every state, not just battlegrounds. If we can do that, we will win in November 2020.
