Our digital outreach efforts -- including emails like this one -- are more important than ever before.

We've always known that the fight to defeat Donald Trump and his GOP enablers would be a difficult, uphill battle, Pat. But now -- in the midst of this crisis -- our party is tackling new challenges and hurdles the likes of which we've never encountered. As the national landscape has radically changed due to COVID-19, so has our organizing strategy to elect Democrats at every level. Now more than ever, we're heavily relying on our digital outreach efforts to mobilize and engage voters. Our operation to win the White House and seats everywhere is rapidly evolving, and we've sharpened our focus on digital organizing: Hosting virtual trainings and events, texting out the vote, and communicating with grassroots supporters online through emails like this one. Truth be told, we can't afford to slow down or postpone our efforts to elect Democrats -- the stakes are simply too high. It's very chaotic. But the thing that we have to do is keep going. We have an election to win in November, we have work to do." And we have indeed kept going, Pat. Last month alone, over 5,800 people signed up for the DNC's digital organizing trainings; we hosted a whopping six virtual training sessions for folks in 49 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico; and we're texting out the vote to encourage as many Democrats as possible to register to vote by mail. Together, our party has shown that we are resilient, flexible, and as fired up as ever to win in November. This online organizing work is of massive importance, especially now -- but we can't dramatically scale up these efforts without additional investments from this team.
