Pat,
I became a doctor to care for people and their families. Then, I entered public service to fix things that were broken. Now, I'm running for the U.S. Senate because I believe the working people of our country deserve leaders who are committed to doing both.
For too long, Republican politicians have stymied progress purely for their own political gain. I don't play those sorts of games, Pat. As it is in medicine, my first priority as a politician has been, and forever will be, to help people -- and that's why I'm running to flip this seat in Kansas.
It won't be easy. Mitch McConnell and his far-right allies are doing everything in their power to keep this seat red, but I know we have a chance at winning if we come together to put in the hard work. With just under three months until Election Day, there has never been a higher-stakes moment for my race and our chances of flipping the Senate, and that's why I'm coming to you today.
If you're able, Pat, will you split a $10 donation between my campaign for Senate in Kansas and the DNC today? Winning this race and races like it will get Democrats that much closer to flipping the Senate in November, so I hope you'll do what you can.
As a physician, I've seen just how difficult it can be for families to navigate our complicated and expensive health care system. Now more than ever, it's critical that lawmakers in Washington work to make health care more accessible. Instead, Republican politicians have focused on partisan politics and ignored science, and in the midst of a pandemic, that's simply unacceptable.
When I get to Washington, I'll focus on lowering the cost of health care, stamping out corruption, and strengthening prosperity in rural communities. But if my Republican opponent wins this seat and becomes another partisan rubber stamp on Mitch McConnell's agenda, our odds of making progress on these critical issues could be slim to none. We cannot let that happen.
Pat: Can you make a $10 donation to my campaign and the DNC today? I'm counting on grassroots supporters like you to help me and my fellow candidates compete with the Republican machine and finish what we've started on Election Day.
Thank you for your support,
Barbara
Dr. Barbara Bollier
U.S. Senate candidate, Kansas
P.S. There hasn't been a Democratic senator from Kansas since the 1930s, so I know this is going to be a tough, uphill battle. But with your help, recent polls show we have a real shot at winning this thing. If you can, split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC today to support this critical race and so many others.
