Joe Biden will need a Democratic Senate

If there is to be meaningful progress on the issues that matter most, we need to take back the Senate.

I don't think I need to tell folks like you how important it is that we take back the White House in November, Pat -- Donald Trump has done more damage in four years than we could have imagined. But make no mistake: Flipping the Senate is just as important. Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans have used the past four years to give tax breaks to the wealthy, scheme how to take health care away from millions, and confirm scores of unqualified or extreme judicial and executive nominees. If given control of the Senate for another term, I shudder at the thought of what they'll try to do next. It's on each and every one of us to ensure that Democrats nationwide have the resources they need to take on Republicans and win. We're leading races once thought unwinnable for Democrats this year, and we've got some truly incredible candidates ready to serve our country.
