Friends --
Last Tuesday, it was my honor to speak at the Democratic National Convention from Brandywine High School, where I made my case for Joe. I shared the story of our family, and how Joe helped us heal after tragedy. It’s the same way he will bring this nation together: with love and understanding, with small acts of kindness, with bravery, and with unwavering faith.
Today I have to ask, because we don’t have a moment to spare:
Will you make your first donation to power this campaign today? Anything you’re able to give will make a real difference in this fight: If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | Four days after our son Beau’s funeral, I watched Joe shave and put on his suit. I saw him steel himself in the mirror. He took a breath, put his shoulders back, and walked out into a world empty of our son. He went to work. That’s just who he is. He never stops fighting for the country he loves.
There are times when I couldn’t imagine how he did it -- how he put one foot in front of the other and kept going. Still, I’ve always understood why he did it. He does it for you.
Across the country, educators, parents, first responders, and Americans of all walks of life are putting their shoulders back and fighting for each other. We haven’t given up.
From now until November 3rd, I’m doing everything I can to make sure we elect Joe and Kamala, and I’m asking if you can do the same. If you have the ability to contribute, we need you more than ever. Even a few dollars will go a long way to help them win in November.
So, if you can, will you make your first donation to power this battle for the soul of the nation? If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | Joe and I are proud to count you as a part of our team and grateful for your support -- no matter how you show it. With your help, I know we will win!
Thank you,
Jill |
