Mitch McConnell has got to go, Pat. That's why I'm running to replace him. He represents the worst of Washington politics; he's a rubber stamp for his political allies, and his only concern is expanding his own power. Kentuckians -- and all working families across America -- deserve better.
Believe it or not, Democrats have a fighting chance at flipping the Senate in November, and this race is a prime opportunity. Special interests and dark money groups are pouring resources into Kentucky because they've seen the polls, and they're afraid of the fact that we have a real chance. This last stretch before Election Day is our final opportunity to send a message to Mitch McConnell and the dysfunctional Washington establishment he leads: Americans are fed up with the broken system, and we're ready to take it back.
Pat: Will you split a $10 contribution between my campaign for Senate and the DNC today to help us take back the Senate? Polls have me within just a few points of McConnell, and I need to capitalize on this momentum now in order to win in November.
People have questioned why I'm running against an incumbent like Mitch McConnell. He's so entrenched in Washington that some people question if he can even be beaten at all. But if my time as a fighter pilot in the Marines taught me anything, it's the importance of dedicating yourself to your mission -- no matter how tough.
Mitch McConnell is the epitome of this dysfunctional system -- he created the swamp that Donald Trump said he was going to drain. If we send Mitch back to Washington for another term, you can bet that any progress we hope to make on issues like health care, equality, and education will be blocked -- even if Joe Biden wins the Oval Office.
So, I'm asking again, Pat: If you're able, will you split a $10 contribution between my campaign to beat Mitch McConnell and the DNC today? We've got a really tough road ahead, and I'm counting on folks like you to help me win a difficult race and lift Democrats to victory across the country.
Thanks for being in the fight.
Amy
Amy McGrath
U.S. Senate candidate, Kentucky
P.S. Mitch McConnell is a formidable opponent, and he has the backing of the RNC and countless Republican PACs. Chip in $10 to my campaign and the DNC to help keep up our momentum.
