Pat, this Thursday at midnight marks the Democratic Party's first fundraising deadline of 2019, and there has never been a more important time to make a donation to the DNC. Here's why: Now that Democrats control the House, Donald Trump and his Republican allies are on the attack. Trump's campaign has already raised over $100 million for his re-election, and the RNC has taken aggressive steps to ramp up their 2020 efforts by reaffirming their support for Trump as their nominee and beginning a massive joint fundraising operation called Trump Victory. We can't waste a single second trying to close that gap, and we've got a long way to go to catch up. Take a look at where we are: If Democrats hope to cut Trump's advantage by the time our party's eventual nominee for president enters the general election, we have to hit every single fundraising goal we have between now and November 2020. So I'm asking: Will you make a $3 donation to the Democratic Party to help reach our first fundraising goal of 2019? Right now we're still short of our January goal, and Democrats nationwide are counting on your support to help defeat Trump and Republicans up and down the ballot in 2020.
