 Today is an incredibly exciting day, Pat. The 116th Congress will convene and our newly elected Democratic lawmakers will be sworn in -- all because of grassroots supporters like you who did the work to make it happen.  On November 6, voters chose a new vision of what our country stands for and a new direction to go in, electing one of the most diverse slates of candidates in our country's history. Forty-two new House members in previously Republican-held seats and two new U.S. senators will take their oaths of office, and we want to make sure you have a chance to give them a warm welcome. Sign the card to welcome our new members of the 116th Congress before they are sworn in: We have a lot to be proud of, Pat -- we elected an unprecedented number of women, people of color, LGBTQ people, and first-time candidates. We also have a lot of work to get done, but our new members are ready to hit the ground running to restore common sense to our government.
