This is a critical time to invest in Democrats who are ready to win in November and build up our ground game in every corner of the country.

Here's the truth, Pat: In order for Democrats to win this year, critical investments have to be made now. Not in September or October -- now. You've donated to elect Democrats in the past. Saturday is an end-of-quarter fundraising deadline -- and it is the most important one we've faced so far this year. Meeting this month's fundraising goal could be the difference between victory and defeat in November. That's why I'm asking: Will you make your first $3 contribution of 2018 before Saturday's critical end-of-quarter deadline to make sure Democrats have the resources they need to win in November? It truly comes down to that. I'm not just talking about national party headquarters -- our state parties are critical, and frankly they're our top priority, so we're working to strengthen them through regular monthly investments and competitive grants to help build innovative programs to mobilize voters. Just this month, we've been able to announce an additional $2.5 million to organize our base constituencies, and many more have already benefited from similar investments. The DNC is also committed to IWillVote, a national campaign to ensure voters have all the information they need to get to the polls -- whether it's registering and committing to vote or providing voter protection and education. The right to vote is one of our core values as Democrats, and it is our responsibility to help all eligible voters participate in our democracy. Our goal is not simply to win in November -- it's to build a permanent party infrastructure capable of putting Democrats on the path to victory in 2020 and beyond.
