Our country charted a great promise in 1776: We are all equal and should be treated as such. This moment in time is challenging that very idea. The Supreme Court is at a tipping point with a woman's right to make her own health care decisions, marriage equality, and our fundamental civil rights on the line. And all the while, the Trump White House is advancing a radical anti-immigrant agenda and the Republican-led Congress is blatantly ignoring so many other pressing issues our country faces. Yet I still have hope, because I know that we will rise to the occasion. This year's elections are an important opportunity for us to come together and fight for who we are and what we stand for. With only hours before tonight's critical deadline, it's time to roll up our sleeves. You've been there for Democrats when it counts, Pat. Can you chip in $10 again before tonight's midnight deadline? Every donation will help elect Democrats nationwide this year and in the years ahead. Each and every day I wake up to fight for our ideals, Pat. Because I know that no one should live in fear that health care providers will deceive them or hospital bills will leave them bankrupt.
