A sustaining grassroots donation to the Democratic Party made each month from now until November 2020 is so much more impactful than the sum of those donations made right before Election Day. Give me a moment to tell you why, Pat: The DNC is working around the clock to prepare for the fight of our lifetimes this election cycle -- and we've already launched some of the most ambitious programs our party has ever undertaken. We've started many of these essential organizing, tech, and voter protection programs earlier in a presidential cycle than ever before, meaning the Democratic Party urgently needs to fund these 2020 investments now, while it's still early in the race. The success of programs like Organizing Corps 2020, our nationwide voter protection hotline, and constituency outreach programs depends entirely upon whether our party has the early, consistent support required to fully fund them. That's why I am reaching out directly to former DNC donors like you with an important request: Can you start a monthly sustaining donation to the Democratic Party to help support the early 2020 investments required to defeat Trump and his allies in 2019 and 2020? DONATE MONTHLY The DNC has already begun some groundbreaking efforts to build a strong party infrastructure capable of lifting Democrats to victory next year. Here's a snapshot of what we're investing early in, and what a monthly recurring contribution to the Democratic Party would help fund: Organizing Corps 2020 is a first-of-its-kind program designed to build our field organizing team in key battleground states we narrowly lost in 2016. The DNC and our partners are recruiting, paying, and training 1,000 homegrown organizers to mobilize their communities starting this summer, giving our eventual nominee for president access to a world-class field team that'll be ready to hit the ground running in the general election. Engaging core constituency groups helped Democrats win last cycle, and we're committed to building on that momentum by continuing key programs like A Seat at the Table, an initiative to meaningfully engage and organize with Black women; Mujeres Mobilized, a program to engage, empower, and organize alongside Latinas; and New Blue Crew, which aims to mobilize young voters and student leaders. I'm proud that the DNC is dedicated to empowering these communities as key decision makers in our fight for 2020. Fighting to defend every vote will be fundamental to winning seats across the country next year and beyond. If folks can't vote, Democrats can't win. That's why the DNC is planning to continue running our national voter hotline to assist those who have questions or concerns while registering to vote or casting their ballot.
