We can't come up short in the states, Pat

We have the chance to create a blue wave all across the country -- but it won't happen unless this community of dedicated Democrats gets behind our candidates right now.

Pat -- With the midterm elections only 14 days away, we can't exclusively focus on winning some federal races. From health care to redistricting to protecting our families, the front line of resistance against Republicans' extremist policies is in the states -- and Democrats have the chance to make huge gains in this year's midterms. Already this election cycle, Democrats have flipped 43 state legislative seats. Now we are only 17 seats away from flipping eight state legislative chambers in Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, New York, Wisconsin, Arizona, New Hampshire, and Florida. There are more than 5,300 Democratic candidates running for their state legislature this year -- more than 2,300 of them are women and more than 1,100 are candidates of color. 82 percent of all state legislative seats in the country are on the ballot in two weeks. We are in a strong position to flip many of them and break up Republican super-majorities -- but our candidates can't organize and win during the homestretch of this election unless we stand with them.
