As the first African-American Chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party, I know this is particularly true for races in the deep South. In order to put Doug Jones in the Senate last year, we knew that to have any chance of winning, we had to make historic investments in organizing Alabamians. We did, and we won -- it's the only way Democrats can compete in the South. With candidates like Andrew Gillum in Florida, Mike Espy in Mississippi, and Stacey Abrams in Georgia, Democrats have some real chances to make history in the deep South in a couple of weeks -- but only with your support. According to our records, it's been awhile since you last contributed to the Democratic Party. We did it by executing an every ZIP code strategy to empower and organize our base communities, making smart, strategic investments in organizing tactics that we know work -- and we did it with a grassroots-powered effort, including committed supporters like you who stepped up in the final days leading up to Election Day.
