Our party is doing things differently this year, Pat. The DNC is no longer in the business of mapping out our strategy once every four years. We are organizing year-round, up and down the ballot, in all 50 states for one simple reason: it's the only way to win elections. You don't need me to tell you that the stakes this year are incredibly high -- but if we invest right now in grassroots organizing, we will be unstoppable in November. The only way to truly stop the madness of the Trump administration is to elect a Democratic Congress, and the only way to elect a Democratic Congress is to support Democratic candidates nationwide, starting right now. Make a $3 contribution to help Democrats organize and win. This election cycle, the DNC has launched four programs that will help transform the way our party engages with voters and communities across the country. I'll share a bit more about them below, but you should keep one thing in mind before you keep reading: these programs will only succeed if millions of Democrats come together to support them. Every ZIP Code Counts is our party's commitment to organizing and competing everywhere to win elections in 2018, 2019 and beyond. The DNC is investing $10,000 in every state party in the country every month to help with this effort. By working at the local level, we will strengthen our state parties and ensure they have the resources to win elections. Winning with Partners in 2018 is a program launched by Deputy Chair Keith Ellison knowing that the DNC is one organization that is part of a broader movement committed to electing Democrats. Through a series of town hall meetings across the country, Keith is pulling together state party leaders, community activists, and organizations new and old. By listening to people on the ground, we can discover common goals and better mobilize our communities this year and in the years ahead. The IWillVote campaign is an ambitious plan to reach 50 million voters by November. When more people vote, Democrats win! The four components of this program will be: 1) getting our community to commit to vote, 2) ensuring they are registered to vote, 3) providing voter education and protection, and 4) running a get-out-the-vote campaign. The Best Practices Institute is an innovation and training hub to support candidates and state parties. We are investing in creative solutions while focusing on the proven best practices that will help develop a permanent infrastructure to continue our progress in 2019, 2020, and beyond. Here's the thing, Pat. This is a road map for the DNC's strategy this year -- but our success won't come solely from these programs. It will come from people like you who speak up and seize your opportunity to have a say in which direction our country will take. Contribute $3 right now if you're ready to elect Democrats nationwide who will get to work fighting for the values we share. Thank you for your continued support of the Democratic Party. As long as we keep working together, I am confident that we'll help Democrats win up and down the ballot while fighting for the progressive values that are the core of our party.
