I remember how Michiganders felt during the auto industry crisis. It was not easy, Pat. As governor, I talked with hardworking families in factory towns. They'd been loyal to those companies for generations and those families all had one thing in common: They felt left behind. It's similar to how folks feel now -- the American people want a government that works for them. They want jobs that pay a living wage. But instead, this president and Republicans in Congress are pretending middle-class Americans' problems can be solved by building a wall (all while greasing the tracks for the rich). It's time to elect Democrats who will present real solutions to the problems facing the American people. Tomorrow at midnight is a critical fundraising deadline -- and your support will help build the national organizing effort it will take to win in November.
