BECOME A FACTIVIST This week, we finally got to see what Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans had been hiding from the public for so long when the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released their findings on how much damage the GOP's health care repeal would do -- 22 million Americans would lose their health insurance. That's bad news, Pat: RETWEET RETWEET RETWEET But thanks to millions of Democrats who made phone calls, signed petitions, attended protests, donated their hard-earned dollars to fund our resistance, and more, McConnell was forced to delay the GOP's repeal vote until after July 4th. That means we have more time to hold Republican senators accountable: RETWEET RETWEET While that was happening, grassroots Democrats from all over the country -- even folks from Alaska and Hawai'i -- were getting ready to fight back against the GOP agenda at the DNC's first-ever Resistance Summer training! RETWEET RETWEET More than 100 people came to D.C. to hear from experts and get trained on organizing tactics that they'll take back to their home states and use to mobilize Democrats in their communities: RETWEET RETWEET This is how we'll win key races this November and next year, Pat -- by taking advantage of every available opportunity to empower our grassroots.
