After millions of Americans called, rallied, protested, and spoke out about the dangers of the GOP's health care repeal, news broke late Monday night that Senate Republicans didn't have the votes to pass their disastrous bill. That same evening, while hosting Republican senators at the White House, Donald Trump recommended they just repeal it without any replacement at all -- and Mitch McConnell agreed: RETWEET But their new plan -- which would have left even more people without health insurance -- fell apart just as quickly as the original. So now we're back at square one: with Mitch McConnell planning to hold a vote this week on a toxic repeal bill that the vast majority of Americans don't want, and Trump losing his patience: RETWEET Of course, Trump was up to more this week than trying to take health care away from 22 million Americans. He also oversaw the first meeting of his "voter fraud" commission -- which exists solely to justify his biggest lie, that as many as 5 million people voted illegally last year -- and announced the so-called "Made in America" week, which would be funny if it weren't so sad coming from someone whose family businesses have a history of making their products overseas: RETWEET RETWEET But Democrats are taking action.
