Donald Trump, Jr. met with allies of Vladimir Putin to get information to help his dad's campaign. It's time for Donald Trump and his cronies to come clean about their collusion with Russia. Add your name to demand answers. Pat, we can say it with certainty: Donald Trump, Jr. knew the Russian government wanted to help his father win the election, and he welcomed their involvement. Here's what happened. Don Jr. received an email with "Russia - Clinton - private and confidential" in the subject line. In it, he was offered "some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary... and would be very useful to your father." And he knew it came from a source with close ties to Vladimir Putin. But instead of reporting this obvious foreign interference in our presidential election to the FBI, Don Jr. said "I love it" and invited the Trump campaign's most senior aides to join him. For months, Donald Trump has denied any connection between his campaign and Russia. But any reasonable observer -- not just Democrats -- could tell something was fishy. Now we know we were right. There's no longer any question that the Trump campaign welcomed the opportunity to collude with Russia. So it's time for Trump to come clean. What did he know about what his family and top campaign advisors were doing, and when did he know it? The future of our democracy -- and Trump's presidency -- rests on his ability to answer these questions.
