Pat, we have just a few weeks until the most consequential election of our lifetimes -- and so much is at stake. I'm in a tough battle to keep my seat here in Alabama, and I urgently need your help.
We've seen relentless attacks on health care, equality under the law, and working families coming from the Trump administration and Mitch McConnell and his friends in the Senate. Pat, my opponent won't be different. He'll rubber stamp every piece of legislation Trump and McConnell put before him, regardless of the cost to Americans.
It's going to be tough, but we can win this seat. We need every resource we can get so we can mobilize, reach, and turn out voters where they are. So, I must ask today:
Please, if you can, split a $10 donation between my campaign for Senate in Alabama and the DNC today. Your support is critical as we enter the final stage of this race to win my seat, beat Mitch McConnell and his Senate Republicans, and expand the map everywhere.
Now more than ever, we need unity. I prosecuted the Klan -- I've seen the worst of what can happen when we are divided. We can accomplish so much more when we work together, and we must unify now, when there is so much more at stake than ever before.
People are voting right now in Alabama, and my opponent won't unify our state, nor will he unify our country. We need someone in office who will fight for unity, equality, and justice for all, and we absolutely have to beat Mitch McConnell to uphold the values of working Americans.
I need your help now more than ever, Pat: Will you donate $10 to be split between my campaign and the DNC today? Every dollar that you pitch in now will help as we fight to beat McConnell, win my seat, and expand the map everywhere.
Thank you for your support,
Doug
Doug Jones
U.S. Senator, Alabama
P.S. It's not going to be easy, Pat. My opponent is backed by an endlessly funded GOP machine, and McConnell is making sure extremists and dark money groups all over America pour money into this race. If you can, please split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC today to make sure we keep this seat and win so many more across the country.
