In just one week, we can begin the process of repairing our democracy. And we cannot take that opportunity for granted, Pat. If I learned anything from working in the Obama administration for six years, it's this: To make the real, lasting change our country so desperately deserves, we must build on our Democratic House majority, take back the Senate, win state legislatures and governorships, and win the White House this year. Full stop. Winning up and down the ticket is going to require all of us. Over the next week, Democrats must empower and mobilize millions of voters nationwide because that is simply the only way we can win at this stage of the race.
