The single most important thing we can do in the next four days is make sure as many folks as possible vote in this election.
And I should know. Voter turnout was key to both of my presidential victories, and it'll be key to Joe's too -- not to mention for thousands of Democrats running at every level. But first, we need to ensure the DNC can meet this final fundraising goal of the election to mobilize as many voters as possible before it's too late.
There are so many people we have yet to reach. There are folks who might still be on the fence, are unsure if they can vote, or haven't made a plan yet. Just one phone call, text, or ad can change all that, Pat. But reaching voters where they are depends on our party hitting our goal ahead of this final deadline of the election:
Will you donate $7 to the DNC before this final and most important deadline of this election? There is too much at stake to fall behind this late in the game, so please pitch in what you can. Take it from me: Joe's the right man for the job, but he can't build our country back better alone. Whether in the U.S. Senate or local office, having Democrats in power will help more people access health care, get the relief they need, and rebuild their lives.
There's no switch or magic shortcut for us to get there, Pat. It's just folks like you and me rising to meet the moment in times like this. And believe me, with so few days left between now and the end of this election, there won't be moments bigger than this one right now.
Donate $7 to the DNC before tomorrow's final fundraising deadline of the election to help elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats nationwide.
Thank you for hearing me out,
Barack
Barack Obama
P.S. I know Joe. I trust him and Kamala Harris to put our country on the right path, return hope to working families, and strengthen our democracy. Please pitch in $7, or whatever you can afford right now, to elect Joe Biden and Democrats nationwide who will move our country forward.
