First: Last year, Barack Obama launched the Democratic Unity Fund to provide a major launchpad for the eventual presidential ticket and Democrats at all levels -- including Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Then: Over 303,987 Democrats stepped up to support the fund -- and every donation helped scale up the critical programs early on that Democrats needed to be able to compete with Donald Trump and the GOP's reelection machine.
Now: We are in a final, critical stage of this race -- getting out the vote. To be able to contact and mobilize as many voters as we can nationwide, we set an ambitious goal to recruit 400,000 Democratic Unity Fund donors before the fund closes on October 31 -- but we're still short of the number we'd expected to see by this point in the race.
Pat, will you rush a $7 donation to the DNC today to add your name to the list of 303,987 Democratic Unity Fund donors supporting Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats running in races across the country this year?
I want to reiterate again how vital the Democratic Unity Fund is, especially right now as we reach out to and empower voters nationwide. If we don't see full support of the Democratic Unity Fund, it could have a big impact on our last-minute organizing and get-out-the-vote efforts. That's why an investment in the fund made now -- while we still have nine days left to talk to voters -- will pack a bigger punch than one made right before Election Day.
Will you make a $7 investment in the Democratic Unity Fund to help hit our goal of recruiting 400,000 Democratic Unity Fund supporters by October 31? I wouldn't be asking if it weren't important.
Thank you for being on this team, Pat. Your commitment to our party does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
In unity,
Tom

P.S. Our records show that you've yet to make a donation directly to the Democratic Unity Fund. If your financial situation allows, please donate your first $7 to the fund now to support critical, last-minute efforts supporting Democrats across the map.
