What a night, Pat. Kamala just stepped off the debate stage, and I could not be more proud of her.
She made a fierce, compelling case in front of the American people and reminded us that, with good governance and respectable leadership, our country's best days still lie ahead. As someone who's been in her shoes once or twice, I know how difficult a task that can be. Kamala nailed it.
But here's the deal: Winning tonight's debate is not enough to take back the White House and pick up key Democratic seats nationwide. We still have an election to win. The honest truth is that folks all over the country are already casting their ballots, and it is our responsibility as Democrats to do everything we possibly can in the less than four weeks we have to reach potential voters before it's too late. We're running out of time to make a difference, so we need to organize and mobilize like our democracy depends on it -- because it does.
Pat, will you split a $10 donation between the Biden-Harris campaign and the DNC so that we can expand our voter outreach programs in this homestretch of the race? Kamala and I can't do this alone.
I cannot stress enough that a failure to act in this moment will put the outcome of this election -- and the future of our democracy -- at risk.
With each passing day, we lose opportunities to reach voters before they cast their ballots in the most important election of our lifetimes. So much is on the line, and we simply cannot afford to wait around for someone else to do the necessary hard work. Kamala faithfully represented our party on stage tonight, and now it is our turn to do our part.
Pat, please donate $10 -- or whatever makes sense for your budget -- to the Biden-Harris campaign and the DNC today. Winning this battle for the soul of our nation will take everyone on this grassroots team stepping up right now, when it matters most.
Keep the faith,
Joe
Joe Biden
P.S. With only 27 days left of voting, we can't fumble the ball -- not this close to the finish line. So please, Pat, split a $10 donation between the Biden-Harris campaign and the DNC today so that we have the resources needed to see this thing through to the end, and win.
