re: a Biden White House

Even the best candidate cannot win a presidential election on their own, and this year is no exception.
DemocratsJoin us.

When I was a senior advisor to President Obama, not once did I have to worry about the president getting bored of reading his daily briefings that covered a range of critical issues from national security to domestic policy. There was no question that he respected and valued the advice of our nation's top experts. And I certainly never had to worry that he was too busy tweeting to care about addressing the important issues facing America's working families.

We have the opportunity to restore decency, dignity, and compassion to the Oval Office by electing Vice President Joe Biden -- a man I know and trust to heal our nation, rebuild our economy, and pay attention to scientific recommendations to improve our ability to fight the COVID-19 pandemic through even the toughest challenges. Now, with just three months until the most consequential election of our lifetimes, there's never been a more urgent time to support Vice President Joe Biden and help elect Democrats all across our country. But, truth be told, that might not happen if the DNC doesn't have the proper funding it needs to continue to support crucial tech, data, and voter outreach infrastructure in time for this final phase of the race.

That's why I'm coming to you today, Pat, ahead of a major fundraising milestone in this election. The support of folks like you on this grassroots team could ultimately help decide this election, so before Friday's deadline, I'm asking you to commit to making a gift -- of any amount -- to help reach our party's end-of-month goal.

Donate $7 before Friday's FEC deadline to help elect Democrats from the statehouse to the White House. I know Joe Biden, Pat, and he's ready for the job. We just have to get him and Democrats nationwide across the finish line by continuing to build a strong DNC.

I had the honor of working with Vice President Joe Biden every single day for eight years during his time in office, which is why I know he's the kind of leader America needs right now. Through those years alongside President Obama, and throughout his entire life before that, Joe has shown that he has the courage to successfully tackle any challenge, no matter how daunting, if it means making life better for hardworking American families.

I had a front row seat to Joe's leadership when he and President Obama successfully pulled our country out of the deepest recession since the Great Depression, and we urgently need to elect a president capable of meeting such a task head-on once again.

Joe Biden has the policy experience to craft sweeping solutions, the humility to take the counsel of our nation's top experts, and the compassion required to look out for each American family as he'd look out for his own.

But even the best candidate cannot win a presidential election on their own, and this year is no exception. It's vital that we come together to ensure the DNC has the resources and tools to help candidates up and down the ticket win competitive races, so I'm asking you again ahead of Friday's deadline:

Will you please contribute your first $7 to help our party reach its fundraising goal for July? Coming up short means risking another four years of Trump and Republicans at the helm, so I'm imploring you to give this race your all -- even if right now that's just a few dollars.

Thank you for all you do. You and I are in this together.

Valerie

P.S. I know how Vice President Joe Biden conducts himself in the White House, Pat, and believe me when I tell you that our country needs his leadership in the Oval Office more than ever. We have a chance to make that happen -- but only if we fight for it each and every day until November 3. Please donate $7 to the DNC ahead of this Friday's midnight deadline to help reach their important goal.
