As a tenant rights lawyer, city councilman, mayor, U.S. senator, and now as a candidate for president of the United States, I've made it my life's purpose to bring people together to take on the toughest challenges we face. I want to bring that purpose to the Oval Office -- and that's why I'm running for president. But no matter who the nominee is, I want to make sure that we have a strong Democratic Party so we can take back the White House and win seats up and down the ballot in 2020. To win the White House, flip the Senate, and win state legislatures and local races across our country, we'll depend on a well-organized and well-resourced Democratic Party with the infrastructure to amplify our party's message, get folks to the polls, and fight for every vote. This election is going to be won by all of us working together, Pat. That's why the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund is so important if we hope to win next year, and why I'm personally asking: Pat, can you make a $3 contribution that will be split evenly between my campaign for president and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund today? I believe with all my heart that we're not going to beat Donald Trump by out-bullying him. I know from experience: The way you beat hate isn't with more hate -- you do it by inspiring people to unite around a common purpose, by aspiring to be greater, by being unapologetically bold and unwaveringly optimistic about what we can achieve as a nation. When we join together and work together, we will RISE together. That couldn't be truer in our fight to elect Democrats -- at every level of our government and in every corner of our country. That's why your gift today is more than just a donation, Pat. It's a promise that you're ready to give every Democratic candidate the resources to win from local office to the Oval Office. The race for the White House will be an uphill battle. Donald Trump's campaign has already raised over $150 million for his reelection. If our party's nominee is going to have any chance to keep up with him, I need strong DNC supporters like you to support the Democratic Unity Fund today. With end-of-month deadlines right around the corner, we need your help to stay on track: Donate $3 directly to my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund to make sure Democrats can rise together and win across the map in 2020. Together, Cory P.S. The Democratic nominee for president will need a strong Democratic Party. That's why I'm asking you to split a $3 donation between my campaign and the DNC today -- so we can build an organization that will take on Trump and Republicans up and down the ballot. |
Sending fundraising emails like this one is a component of our Democratic candidates’ agreement with the DNC to share access to the DNC’s database of voter records. As a part of our agreement, every candidate who signs on sends the same number of emails to the DNC’s list, with proceeds going to a combination of the DNC and the candidate’s campaign. If you’re wondering why you’re not hearing from your preferred candidate, we may have already sent emails on their behalf or have plans to do so in the future, or they may not have signed on yet. The DNC is committed to running a fair and transparent primary. This organization is powered by you, and we'd love to hear your ideas. Just reply to this email to send any comments, criticisms, or feedback. Our community management team reads every message from supporters like you. Thanks for supporting our party!
