Just heard news that boils my blood: Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said he's planning to introduce a bill to dramatically increase the number of days immigrant children can be detained from 20 to 100 days. What's worse is that Graham said he'd introduce this monstrous bill as soon as tomorrow. This is urgent. We have to speak out to prevent this abhorrent legislation from reaching the Senate floor. I need you to take action: Add your name and pledge to fight tooth and nail alongside Democrats against the imprisonment of immigrant children. Just like mine -- and like many of yours -- who do not deserve to be treated like animals. They deserve to have their valid claims for asylum granted.
