Monday is the final fundraising deadline of this year, Pat. If 19 supporters from Carrollton rush a donation to hit our end-of-year goal before then, we'll help Democrats prepare for 2019 and 2020. Let me explain why: We must defeat Donald Trump and the GOP in 2020 -- and their recklessness in this week's government shutdown is just another reminder of that. Trump's campaign has already raised more than $100 million -- that's more than 25 times what President Obama raised and more than 30 times what President Bush raised two years into their presidencies. If we wait until 2020 to catch up to the Trump machine, it will be too late. So I'm asking: It's been 800 days since you made your last donation to the DNC. We're counting on you to help build the infrastructure to defeat Trump and the GOP. Will you make your first $3 contribution of 2018 before Monday's end-of-year deadline? I'm proud of how far we've come this year -- but you and I both know our work isn't done. If we don't have a strong Democratic Party heading into 2020, Donald Trump could be our president for another four years. We simply cannot allow that to happen. Be one of 19 supporters from Carrollton to make a $3 donation before the final deadline of the year. Thanks for standing with Democrats before Monday's deadline.
