TODAY: Trump to kick off re-election campaign

We can't afford eight years of Donald Trump in the White House.

Donald Trump is holding the first rally of his re-election campaign today. Pitch in $10 or whatever you can to help make sure Trump is a one-term president.

Friend --

Donald Trump has had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad first month in office.

His National Security Advisor resigned over ties to Russia that are only raising more questions about the administration. His executive order on immigration was a very public disaster. His pick for Labor Secretary was pressured to withdraw after even members of his own party pulled their support. His new pick for National Security Advisor withdrew his name because of turmoil in the White House. Trump's approval rating is tanking. His White House is leaking like a sieve. He thinks the press is being too mean to him. He seems lonely.

And instead of putting in the work to fix his dysfunctional administration, Trump has been spending his weekends vacationing at Mar-a-Lago and sticking taxpayers with the bill.

So what better time to kick off his 2020 election campaign, right?

Trump is in Florida for the third time this month -- this time for a campaign rally. There's no clear purpose other than stroking his fragile ego.

On the plus side, if it distracts him from the trouble he can get into by governing, then maybe it's not so bad.

But he's still the president. And we need to hold him accountable for everything he does between now and November 2020. Pitch in $10 or more today to help make sure we have the resources we need for what sounds like it's going to be a very, very long campaign.
