Tell your health care story

Our first fight of 2017
DemocratsJoin us.
Democrats are gearing up to protect our progress and fight for affordable health care. Help us today by sharing your story about how the Affordable Care Act has impacted your life.

Friend --

When it comes to the impact the Affordable Care Act has had on us as Americans, as usual, President Obama put it best: "what we are talking about is no longer just a law. It's no longer just a theory... This is now part of the fabric of how we care for one another."

As of this week, Republicans are now in a position to start pulling at the strings of that fabric -- and if they get their way, it's going to unravel to the point that tens of millions of Americans will lose the health care they've come to depend on, and all of us are going to feel the impact. It's up to us to speak out about why we're fighting for it.

Whether it's women who are no longer charged higher premiums than men, people with chronic conditions who are no longer being turned away by insurers, twenty-somethings who are able to stay on their parents' insurance a little longer, or countless others, Obamacare has touched all our lives in one way or another. It's on us to share our stories so that the GOP can maybe understand just what is hanging in the balance when "repealing" doesn't come along with a plan to "replace" and people lose coverage.

Will you share your story about how Obamacare has touched your life, or forward this to a friend, family member, or neighbor who might want to share theirs?

Thanks so much.
