Add your name: demand a full review of Trump's nominees

Trump's nominees are on the Hill for confirmation this week.
DemocratsJoin us.
Republicans want to rush Donald Trump's nominees through the confirmation process before they've been fully vetted by the public and government ethics watchdogs. Add your name and stand with Senate Democrats to demand a full and thorough review of Trump's nominees:

Friend --

Donald Trump is building a Cabinet in his own image -- billionaire CEOs, bankers, and mega-donors with complicated business relationships and financial holdings that have the potential to create unprecedented conflicts of interest.

The American people should feel confident that our government officials are acting in the country's best interest -- not looking out for their own bottom line. But with Senate Republicans trying to rush Trump's Cabinet nominees' confirmation hearings through as quickly as possible even though they haven't been thoroughly vetted, there's no telling how corrupt this administration has the potential to be.

Will you add your name to tell Senate Republicans this is unacceptable?

We're not asking for much -- just that Mitch McConnell and his fellow Senate Republicans hold Trump's nominees to the same standards to which they have held others in the past. In fact, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer just sent McConnell's own letter from eight years ago (at the start of the Obama administration) back to him as a friendly reminder:

Good one, Sen. Schumer -- load image

Let's not forget: Donald Trump got away with never releasing his tax returns during his campaign for president, and will enter office in a matter of days with the American people still in the dark about his potential foreign business entanglements and conflicts of interest.

And since Trump is now the GOP's standard-bearer, I guess it shouldn't be surprising that his Cabinet picks are being held to the same level of scrutiny that he was -- which is to say, not much.

So if you're standing with Senate Democrats in refusing to accept anything less than a comprehensive ethics review for Trump's nominees, add your name today:

Thanks for standing with us,
