Trump's business interests present an unprecedented, unethical conflict of interest with his presidency. Pitch in to help us fight back against corruption in the Trump administration: Friend -- Last week, Donald Trump held a press conference that was supposed to put to rest the concerns that have arisen about his administration's potential conflicts of interest. He stood next to a tower of folders that were supposed to contain the legal documents divesting him from his business interests. But since reporters weren't allowed to look inside, for all we know those folders were as empty as his promises to divest seem to be. Just days before his inauguration, we're learning that Trump's promise last week of "no new foreign deals" apparently doesn't include a multimillion dollar expansion of his Scottish golf resort. According to the Office of Government Ethics, this fails to meet the ethics standards met by every other president since the office was established four decades ago in the wake of the ethically-challenged Nixon administration. And Republican leaders don't seem to care one bit. In fact, Congressman Jason Chaffetz, the Republican chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, sent the head of the Office of Government Ethics a letter warning him against being too hard on Trump! It's pretty unbelievable -- and it's why we need your support to continue speaking out against everything Trump tries to get away with. When Trump takes office this week, he will be in an unprecedented position to build on his personal fortune at the expense of the American people.
