I voted. And marched. And I'm just getting started.

Let's get to work.
DemocratsJoin us.
Pitch in today to help Democrats fight back against the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress.

Friend --

On Saturday, I was part of the crowd of almost half a million people who came together for the Women's March in Washington, D.C.

It was incredibly moving and inspirational to see so many people from all walks of life standing united, and there to fight for one another. And one of the best parts was, because the crowd was so huge, I didn't have cell service to see what, if anything, our new president had tweeted about it.

It might have been the optimism of the day that led me to think maybe he had learned to show some restraint -- or was so overwhelmed by the size of the protest that he didn't know how to respond! But then yesterday morning, he finally weighed in:

Sure, Donald -- load image

We know that this new administration deals in what they now call "alternative facts" (aka lies) -- and one of their favorites is that Trump won by a landslide. But we know that he lost the popular vote by around 2.9 million votes. And guess how many people showed up to march all across the country on Saturday? About 2.9 million people.

I know I voted. And marched. And I plan to do everything I can for the next four years to stand up against Trump and the GOP's radical agenda. Not just when there's an election, but every day. And from what I could see and hear at our march in Washington and marches all across the country, people are ready to step up. To organize in their communities. Call their representatives. Get involved in a campaign or maybe even run for office themselves.

Trump and the GOP are underestimating us at their own peril. Pitch in $10 or whatever you can today to be part of helping Democrats build on our momentum and fight back together.
