Democracy is not a spectator sport. If you don't like what's going on, you can't sit on the sidelines. That's why I first ran for Newark Municipal Council in 1998 and that's why I'm running for president now -- to build the fair, just country we deserve. We only have one shot to make Donald Trump a one-term president, Pat, and we absolutely cannot lose it. There's simply too much at stake -- affordable health care, criminal justice reform, environmental justice, and so much more that we hold dear. That's why the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund is so important. The DNC is already utilizing the fund to build a strong ground game to hand over to the eventual Democratic presidential nominee the second the general election begins. The strength and success of that operation depends on you -- and I need you to join me in stepping off the sidelines today. Make a $3 contribution that will be split between my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund to help build the infrastructure we'll need to win up and down the ballot next year.
The Democratic Unity Fund is a unified effort paving the path to victory for whoever the Democratic nominee is -- from training organizers in key battleground states, to running a best-in-class data warehouse, and even doing critical opposition research on Donald Trump and his lackeys. My conversations with people of every background have taught me this: Americans want empathetic solutions, with results they can see in their own communities -- and this administration is failing on both fronts. It is critical that we defeat this ineffective president and begin the process of healing our nation, but it's going to take me, you, and a strong DNC backing our future nominee to do that. I'm asking you personally to make your first contribution to the Democratic Unity Fund today. It will truly take all of us coming together to make sure our party is strong enough to put our nominee in the White House and elect Democrats nationwide. Can I count on you to split a $3 donation with my campaign and the Democratic Unity Fund? Yours in the fight, Cory P.S. We're already building the party infrastructure the Democratic nominee for president needs to win in 2020, but the strength and success of that operation depends on all of us. Which is why I am asking: Will you split a $3 donation between my campaign and the Democratic Unity Fund today? |
Sending fundraising emails like this one is a component of our Democratic candidates’ agreement with the DNC to share access to the DNC’s database of voter records. As a part of our agreement, every candidate who signs on sends the same number of emails to the DNC’s list, with proceeds going to a combination of the DNC and the candidate’s campaign. If you’re wondering why you’re not hearing from your preferred candidate, we may have already sent emails on their behalf or have plans to do so in the future, or they may not have signed on yet. The DNC is committed to running a fair and transparent primary. This organization is powered by you, and we'd love to hear your ideas. Just reply to this email to send any comments, criticisms, or feedback. Our community management team reads every message from supporters like you. Thanks for supporting our party!
