Pat -- As you enjoy your Labor Day weekend, I wanted to take a quick moment to say thank you. Not only did this incredible grassroots team reach our August goal -- together, we blew past it. This time of year has been notably slower for fundraising in years past. Folks here at DNC HQ and I knew that reaching it would not come easily. But 41,340 supporters on this team stepped up to the plate to invest in our party and sent a clear message: This year -- and this election cycle -- have to be different in order for us to succeed in the days ahead. Committed supporters like you have made it clear that you are ready for this fight, and dedicated DNC donors from all 50 states have chipped in to build the strong Democratic Party our eventual nominee and Democrats nationwide will rely on. Our records show that you didn't get a chance to chip in last month, but it's not too late. Trump and the GOP's machine grows stronger every day, so I'm asking if you'd be the first person from Carrollton to contribute in the month of September.
