What I'm asking of you:

In 2020, we can't take anything for granted.

The impeachment inquiry announced just days ago is a critical step towards holding Trump accountable for his actions, Pat. But here's the truth: The stakes are simply far too high for us to rely on an impeachment inquiry alone to put our country back on track. Kicking Republicans out of the White House and defeating every one of Trump's GOP allies up and down the ballot is our only chance at restoring sanity and dignity to our politics. But with Trump and Republicans raising record sums of money to hold the White House and erase Democrats' House majority, I fear what will happen if we fail to keep pace. Don't get me wrong, the DNC is putting up a strong fight: Organizing in battlegrounds, overhauling voter data, and building the ironclad party infrastructure we need to win. But we're depending on supporters like you to step up before tomorrow's end-of-quarter deadline to keep funding these critical programs. Will you make a $3 donation to the DNC before tomorrow's deadline? We need to protect the ground we gained in 2018 and expand our majority in 2020, which means hitting this end-of-quarter goal is our only option.
