If Democrats want to win everywhere -- whether it's this year in Virginia or next year nationwide -- we have to be able to compete everywhere.

Listen, Pat: There's no such thing as a Democratic stronghold. If Democrats want to win everywhere -- whether it's this year in my home state of Virginia or next year nationwide -- we have to be able to compete everywhere. We can't take anything for granted, especially if we want to win back the White House, the Senate, and continue to elect Democrats to the House. Ahead of tonight's big deadline, I'm asking for your help to build a tough-as-nails Democratic Party that can provide essential resources and support to state parties and Democratic candidates in 2019, 2020, and beyond. Can you rush a $3 donation to the DNC before tonight's end-of-quarter deadline in order to elect Democrats in 2019 and 2020? As a former DNC chair, I know firsthand how important it is that the DNC reaches its goals like the one we're up against tonight. Each goal is carefully calculated and used to create the DNC's budget, which in turn determines the DNC's strategy in 2020. This includes things like training organizers in key battleground states, equipping candidates with the data they need to reach voters, and providing much-needed support to our state parties. Falling short of a fundraising goal, especially one as important as tonight's, can jeopardize our ability to compete in every ZIP code. The DNC knows this, which is why they're working day and night to make the necessary investments in organizing, data, and tech we need to elect Democrats in 2019, 2020, and beyond. I'm fired up by all that my friend Tom Perez and his team at HQ are doing, and that's why I have to ask: Can you chip in $3 before midnight tonight? The DNC is counting on supporters like you to help stay on target and elect Democrats from local office to the Oval Office.
