I ran for president to fight for our values -- for who we are -- and to beat Donald Trump.

Friend, I ran for president to fight for our values -- for who we are -- and to beat Donald Trump. But I always promised that if I didn't see a path to the nomination, I would end my campaign and focus my efforts on helping Democrats win across the board next November, which is why I ended my campaign last week. I am leaving this race proud -- proud that we raised issues that are vitally important to the American people and our future, and proud of the race we've run so far together as Democrats. Moving forward, I will be campaigning my ass off for whoever wins our nomination in 2020! Today, Pat, I am asking you to commit to staying in that fight with me. In order to be successful next year, we need a strong Democratic Party to help elect candidates up and down the ballot. Every day, the folks at the DNC are working to lay the groundwork that our eventual presidential nominee will need to win. They're making early investments in organizing in key battleground states, overhauling tech and data systems, and strengthening their voter protection programs. Simply put, they're doing the work to help Democrats win -- and win everywhere -- in the years to come. But they need our help to do it. Please make an investment of whatever you can afford so that we can win up and down the ticket in 2019, 2020, and beyond.
